Getting Cookin' on Construction!

The residents of Cedarburg, WI have been patiently awaiting the opening of the historic town's new restaurant, Brandywine. It's no surprise that when demo and construction started this week it created a flurry of excitement.

Owner and chef Andrew Wilson is equally thrilled. "There has been a lot of planning, so it feels really good to be under construction".

Wilson, former sous chef at Bacchus, and his wife Rhiannon purchased the historic building in April 2017.  They plan to honor the building's history while introducing modern industrial touches. 5253 Design Collective has signed up to help obtain this aesthetic by building the wood table tops throughout the restaurant.

"This is the town where my family lives, where my kids go to school. I'm so happy to help the Wilson family with the newest addition to the local restaurant scene" says 5253 owner, Jake Knox.

Brandywine's menu will focus on local and seasonal vegetables and meats, handmade pasta and bread, and Wisconsin cheese. They are slated to open in late spring 2018.
